The boys are officially taking swim lessons, and we are very excited...as they are! :) The kick off to their first day of swim lessons was Tuesday at theTalega Swim and Athletic Club. At least in CA if your children are three, you can enroll in lessons without the parent's participation. What is even better is they are getting private lessons so the swim instructor, Dusty, can spend all her time with our boys.
Cheyenne had a lot of fun taking the boys and watching them take in this whole experience. The boys will go every Tues and Thur for 8 weeks and each session is about a half hour. Once the lessons are over we will determine if we should continue with lessons or take it on ourselves. I am planning to go into work late one of the days so I can see the boys practicing. I was very proud to hear how well the boys did not to mention how great their custom ear plugs worked. I guess Dusty had a lot of crying babies/kids last week, but our kids were all smiles and listening to her instructions. She had them jump in the water, kick with the swim board, and float on their back. Dusty was impressed with our little boys as we all were considering this was their first attempt with offical swim lessons. The TSAC has another section, I guess you could think of it as a giant sprinkler, where Cheyenne took the boys after lessons. They had a great time running around. Since it was close to lunch time and the boys did such an awesome job, Cheyenne took the kiddos to McDs for lunch. What an awesome day and could not be more proud of my love bugs! Here are some kodak moments of their fun filled day!
