We had another great weekend. I feel like the boys have matured so much since turning three. Yes, amazing as this sounds, they are MORE inclined to do things themselves. Jack tends to be the one that will initiate a new milestone and/or behavior but Zach is not too far behind when he begins to take notice. Jack now will just go upstairs on his own, put clothes on, and come downstairs ready to go. So, FYI, if you notice the outfits in pictures that are less than matching this should definitely be a sign that he dressed himself...:) Perhaps 5% is Daddy dressing the boys :). Moms and their sons really have a special bond and I LOVE, the love the boys have for me and I wish to the moon and the back this never fades. I LOVE how they ride their bikes past me and yell, HI MOMMY...just because. Zach is my "lover". He will walk up and hug my leg several times a day and say MY MOMMY! I am very proud to be their Mom and their actions reassure me they are proud to have me as their mom regardless if we have a bad day. Let's face it we all wake up on the wrong side of the bed from time to time.

| Congrats Taylor! |
Saturday was low key and by that I mean we spent our monring running our errands, grocery shopping, etc. I like that we take each day as it comes and don't feel the need to have plans. It also shows the boys that life is not always go go go, rather, it is also nice to have days that we can spend at home enjoying what we have. After the boys woke up from their nap we headed into Orange for a graduation party. Steve's cousin's daughter, Taylor, graduated from High School. We could not be more proud of her. She will be attending ASU and will concentrate her efforts towards being a nurse. The boys did a great job and I have to say this was our first long road trip (45 mins to an hour) and they did amazing holding their pee pee. Since we started putting potty training into full effect we just stayed within 5 - 10 minutes of the house until they got used to the concept of "holding". We started potty training around 2 1/2 years and it was not entirely consistent. They have always shown signs of interest, just not consistent. Like all things regardless if they were showing an interest they still should "want" to do it rather being forced upon. The past month they have been champs and have been doing VERY WELL. I could not be more proud of them for this 98% accident free journey! :) Zach will forget every blue moon....:) We got to Steve's Uncles house for the party just after 4 and it was great seeing some familiar faces and catching up. I sort of thought we would be there if not close to the boys bed time then perhaps a little later. It turned out we were there a little later than normal and happy I brought their jammies, etc. We didn't leave until 9pm and was home just after 9:30pm. The boys fell asleep on the way home and they transitioned smoothly to their beds. They even slept in almost 2 hours. It was nice that Steve and I got a little break. I used to take these moments and enjoy the quiet time with a cup of coffee but we slept in too.
June gloom has ended and this means sun is out early with perfect temps in the low 70s [feels much warmer with the sun out for sure]. Steve filled up the pool and it was great that we just stayed home jumping in and out of the pool. Yep, I even got in with them. HA. It was fun hanging out at home as we got to play with toys and then eventually changed into our swimsuits again and got back into the pool. Even though the boys slept in they surely were worn out from the sun and playing in the water. The boys went down for nap slightly earlier than normal and once they got up we waited for Nicki to come by as we had dinner plans with Steve's coworker, Jason and Melissa. It will be great to see them more often since they live in San Clemente. We had a great dinner at Nick's South and back home in time to put the boys to bed.

| Since Steve's new hobby is his remote control race car, the boys decided they wanted to take part in the excitement too. We took them to Target and they picked out their first remote control race car. They are great at steering and operating the car at the same time. |

| Jackson! |
 |
| Jack woke up from his nap after a half hour. He walks downstairs like a zombi, eyes rolling in back of his head---clearly tired. We were getting a nice cross breeze in the house so I snuggled on the couch with him and he was out after 5 minutes! |
 |
| He slept like this for another 2 hours...peaceful huh? |
It was another great weekend hanging out in our backyard!
Until Nex time...
