We are enjoying each day as it comes! Cheyenne took the boys Friday morning to feed the ducks at a nearby pond. They enjoy watching the ducks nibbling on bread they brought with them. Then, here come the geese. As you might know, geese can be quite aggressive so once they make their appearance the boys and Cheyenne take it as time to go :). This time Cheyenne brought their bikes with so they could venture off on the nearby trail...this time the boys chasing the geese. HA!

Steve and I decided that we wanted to start exploring all the different beaches down the coast line in San Clemente. There are a few different spots that bring a lot of families. The first beach on the list of many was Poncho Beach on the border of Dana Point and San Clemente. We were one of the first families to arrive and after about 3 hours of hanging out we realized this was not the beach for us, and for a couple of reasons. One primary reason are the flies. The more people that come around, walking through the sand, the more flies. And what a bothersome they are. There are many other beaches that are on the list and have many more weekends during the summer to explore. The flies did not stop us from having fun. The boys had a great time playing in the sand with all their toys. We were not quite sure what to do once we heard, Mommy and Daddy pee pee. But...we started digging a hole in the sand (HA) and then said scratch this...Steve walked them ALL the way to the other end to the bathrooms and they held it, yes they did! We are very proud of them since we were not quite sure how to handle this particular situation hanging out on the beach for hours on end. I have to laugh because knowing the walk would seem like 10 football fields to the kids I told them they need to hold their pee, and all I hear out of both is, OK. I turn around and Jack is holding himself. Yep...took every word I said literally! :) It was great hanging out at the beach, taking in some sunshine! We already spotted our next location!

| We had so much fun relaxing on the beach, and happy the boys had so much fun...but did we really question the "fun"? :) |
