Every so often I enjoy a simple, good post capturing kodak moments. We love Sundays in our house for a few different reasons. One in particular...FOOTBALL. I started the day by going to the Beauty Studio to get my hair done. I like going to Melissa because she does such a good job, super nice, and the salon is a studio; just Melissa and her business partner so you don't get the overkill of a hair salon. Not only is it peaceful and we exchange stories about our kids, but she has FABULOUS prices. Anyone in Southern Caliornia looking for a great stylist...I have one in mind just for you! Steve tends to like these moments because he can run errands with the boys and I think he enjoys it due to the alone time. One of the errands involved a trip to Costco...shocker. :) When I got home from The Beauty Studio Steve was having lunch (pigs in a blanket :)) with the boys at their picnic table. We played for a little bit and then it was nap time! After nap we got ready for football...BEARS vs VIKINGS. I was torn because I have LOVE for both teams. :) The weather was perfect so we hung outside to watch the game...pulled up the patio chairs, and turned on the surround sound. It was great because the boys sat with us for a little and if they wanted to play then they were able to do so. They love their tricycles and have been enjoying riding them around the yard.

Steve left to go on a business trip this afternoon. DPR has a facility in Texas and he is the single point of contact for teaching a class regarding "on screen take offs". DPR started using the same software that Steve has used for years and a lot of the estimators at DPR were not in the know of what it could actually do. Steve taught his first class quite a few months ago and now has been asked to visit all of the sites to teach the course. The boys and I had a good time hanging out this evening ourselves. We played with monster trucks, watched Backyardigans, wrestled a little, read books, studied colors, and went over our ABCs and 123s. Jack did have to sit in time out once with Mommy but then after a little talk he turned around and was a good boy. The boys decided just before we were getting ready for bed to get their guitars. I then had to turn on music. We have a couple of live concerts recorded; ZZ Top and Rush. I turned on Rush for them and they both got a good jam session in before bed time!

| Steve enroute! |
Daddy comes home Wednesday so not a long trip; just in time for pizza night. :) We are going to the Irvine Great Park this weekend for their annual food drive fall harvest. I cannot wait. I wanted to take the boys last year but missed the date as I thought the fall harvest activities was ongoing for Halloween. I am looking forward it; petting zoo, pumpkin patch (we get to pick out our pumpkins), fun events, and activities. Since we will be gone over Halloween Weekend, but home on Halloween night I think we will spend this weekend taking in some fun Halloween related events! Nana and Papa will be on Halloween Duty :)!
Until next time!
Love,
Julie
