Pier Time

Steve and I carpool to work and it really is nice we can do that considering he has a company car and gas card not to mention we work one block over from each other! Thus I am able to leave my car at home. I will be honest there was a time when I was REALLY nervous in having someone else drive my kids around. It is not that I did not trust them, rather other people on the road that did not have my trust. However, we have faith in Karley that she makes the right decisions and will be on the look out for the unforeseen. Over time we let her go a little further, like venturing out on the 5/405. For those of you back home the equivalent is the 94/294. :) Side note...I am glad we will not be around the upper 405 where the 101 spins off. The city of LA decided to shut off that part of the highway for construction. Talk about a major back up. I am happy we do not need to depend on that to get us places. I can only imagine what this weekend will look like. The news broadcasters are calling it "Carmageddon". HA. Okay...whatev. In any event, I am going on a tagent so back on track. What I was saying is that I decided to take Karley's car to work today so she could have my car with the car seats. It was the perfect day to do this so the house cleaners did not have to work around the boys. That said Karley took the boys down to SC Pier. She sent the cutest pics to me and Steve. The boys LOVE going down to the pier and we try to make that a weekend trip. One of these weekends we will make it to the beach, but we need to find a more less congested beach and I think there is one up from the pier. Everyone seems to hang out on the beaches by the pier. Too busy!

Here are some pics of their outing!
