PPT Update

I have a very exciting PPT (pee, poop, toot) update. The past couple of days Karley has been trying to monitor the times in which she think they may have to do "something". For example, the best time to try to test their need to go is the time after lunch, just before nap. Although the boys are really good at letting us know when they have pooped. I know I have mentioned this before but they point to their butt, crinkle their nose and sniff. :) It really is cute. The other day Jack went poop a little and today Zach went pee just a little---using the big boy toilet. This is so exciting and I am very happy they are catching on to using the big boy toliet. We do have a potty training toliet but they seem to play with it more than want to learn and we got that from them when we got it out of storage quite a few months ago. Additionally we would require two to avoid distractions. The funny thing is that we may not need the potty training toliet. We have a kiddie step stool and put it in front of the potty for them to use. The boys step up and cautiously put their hands down on the seat. They are learning both ways (sitting and standing) and although it might seem confusing to them but overall they are catching on and it is soooo exciting. I tried helping Zach up because here you have this little boy and massive toliet, but he was insistent that he could do it himself so Mommy Potty Patrol was on stand by (not sure where he gets his independence...ahem). He did great! I would like to take a picture but it is more important they focus on what they are doing. Maybe one of these days I can sneak a photo. :)

I thought I would share with you our wonderful PPT update!

Love,
Julie
