Chillin'

Steve and I celebrated Valentine's Day Saturday evening, and the boys were able to stay the night at Steve's parents house. We went to Nick's South, which opened in January. Nick's South has a Mexican flair to it and I have to say it was amazing. We had these shrimp taquitos that were amazing. Yum. Steve loves enchiladas and I got this beef dish that was amazing, and it came with the best tortillas. It was nice going to bed early and getting some much needed sleep. I had Steve wake me up so that I could enjoy a walk. It was a crisp morning and so peaceful at 6:30. What a way to start a good day! Steve picked the boys up around 8:30am and decided to take them down to the beach since it was starting off to be a beautiful day.

They boys woke up from their nap greeted by Steve's cousin Brian, his wife Tiffany, and baby Reese. We had a great time exchanging stories, talking about the future, and having some adult time. Dinner turned out fabulous too! Although I didn't take any pictures of our gathering, it surely was a great way to end a nice weekend. We have a busy week ahead of us! :)
