This past week our climate reached higher temperatures due to what is known as the Santa Ana winds, which brings warmer temps and winds. Thursday was the last day of the higher than normal temperatures. We thought it would be fun to get the boys out to the pier. We typically do not "go out" during the week nights but why not...The boys ate dinner a little earlier and we got into some comfy clothes and headed down to the pier. Everyone else must have had the same idea or it is always packed so nothing new? We got to the pier about 6:30 and we had to park in the far lot, which meant the boys had some walkin'...
It was really gorgeous out and they boys had a great time walking the pier watching some of the surfers. We eventually made our way all the way back to the car and I am sure their tiny little legs got a work out. Of course we carried them a little bit of the way, but they sure didn't mind walking either.
They were so awesome and listened to us each step of the way. What a way to get ready for the weekend and something we should continue to do if time permits.
