Date Night

We were blessed to have Monica come by Friday at 5pm to relieve Karley and take care of the boys so we could get out for a little. When we left Irvine/Newport Beach it was sunny, beautiful, and 80 degrees. In making our way to the toll way we decided to spend the evening downtown San Clemente. HA. As soon as we made our way into Dana Point it literally dropped 15 degrees and there was nothing but Fog. Typically this is just around the coastline, but the fog did roll in a little inland. We then decided to make our way over to Zona's (AKA The Next Door). This was fine because we enjoy going there, enjoy mingling with the staff, and it is so close to home.

Before our date started, Steve gave me a huge surprise that brought big alligator tears to my eyes. When he picked me up from work, he had something sitting in the front seat for me. Take a look below...I know the perfect place for it...my office! Melt my heart.

Steve took this picture probably back in March while we were down at the pier. It has been one of his favorite pics of the boys for the longest time. He turned it into a canvas picture for me. I love it!

Our tradition...date night photo at Zona's

Clownin' around
We were of course home in time to snuggle with our boys and put them to bed! Here is to hopefully another date night next Friday! If not then no biggie because the next date night will be in Chicago! :)

Love,

Julie
