Friday Date Night

Steve and I are fortunate, when we can depending if we have a sitter, to get out once a week. Our tradition at the moment is every Friday after work we attempt to leave early and hit a new restaurant every Friday. Monica was not able to watch the boys so Nana and Papa were very happy to fill in for Monica. We were still home in time to tuck the boys in bed! :)

This past Friday we went to the Next Door as it has been probably about 2 months since our last visit. We learned that Jason and Erin are no longer owners, in fact were never owners so to hear about the newest change sort of took us by surprise. Some of the menu changed slightly. Next Door is turning into a sports bar and will soon have a new name, Zona's. I agree, not really a sports bar name.  As we were talking to the bartender about football we mentioned "Bears". The gentleman next to me said, "Bears Fans Huh"? I looked and didn't know whether to smile and say you betcha or um, no! :) Right away Steve jumps in and says oh you too, GREEAATT! So we started talking to the couple about football and hope that we might run into them on a Sunday. They seem fun and really down to earth.
