I am not sure why Steve and I have not realized until yesteday how often the boys do things that are the exact dulicate...I mean exact. Perhaps it is because since they are constantly on the move and playing with one another that we just never realized that they have to be doing the same thing as the other. Do all siblings do this or is it because they are twins? Not certain and I am sure it does not make a difference. It doesn't matter what they are doing. It could be the toy they are playing with, how they are carrying the toy, how they are sitting, etc. We noticed yesterday as Jack was getting ready to walk upstairs after breakfast that Zach kept eyeing him, looking back at his belongings. Jack was carrying his milk, blankey, doggie, and a truck. Zach turned back to get the one item he was missing from his hands...the truck. Now that we have observed this, we are noticing it happens A LOT! Just today as we were playing in the pool, it happened again. Zach was carrying his foam floating device pretending it was a tool of some sort. There goes Jack getting the same toy, holding it the same way and also pretending it was a tool. Goodness. They are best friends. It also made us realize we have a major case of Monkey See Monkey Do and it is not just at meal time any more. HA.
