Saturday Funnnnnn!

Steve and I enjoy the weekends, like everyone else :). We started the morning by waking up before the boys. Something we don't always get to do is enjoy a cup or two of mojo and watch the news sans kids. I do look forward to that if we are given the opportunity. The boys slept great and woke at 7:00am. We started our day with Daddy making their fav...blueberry pancakes with a side of melon and strawberries! Yumilicous!

Zach...so cute, ate his strawberries first. :)

After we got them cleaned up I got them upstairs for some playtime. I looked out their side window and thought wow, they have an awesome view.

The mountains are just so pretty. The pic does not do the view justice!

The boys have been so funny lately, the way they play with each other, look at you, etc. They have developed a lot of different expressions lately and one they love to give you is the "watcha talkin' about Willis" look, Jack especially. It was probably well over a month ago perhaps two months now where Jack learned how to use his eyebrow tied to making expressions...know what I mean? Hilarious. When they both get upset they turn to look at you, literally giving you the "eye". There are on occasions when they do not know what sharing means. Generally they are good with the concept but folks we certainly have moments.

Shorly after this pic, Zach was upset because Jack would not give him the laptop. But before then...brotherly love!

Jack, say what?!

Lately they pull their rocking chairs (from Grandma Smith) up to their toy orgainizer (from Grandpa and Grandma Helland) to play.

Jack caught red handed standing in his chair, um yep that is big fat no-no!

Their new hiding place...the bottom shelf of their bookcase.
Next on the agenda was bathtime! They have a blast in the tub and we have a lot more energy over the weekend so we decided to do bathtime at night during the week and shift bathtime to the morning over the weekend. Yes, the are getting bigger. Lately they have been climbing into the tub all by themselves. I had never let them do it before because I was always so nervous as they could slip, but the one thing with our boys is they do things with caution; holding on and slowly getting in the tub. :) Steve was in the guest room hanging a new ceiling fan and he said I sounded like a tourist. He just heard the camera, click, click, click.

Jack and Zach--love this!

:) Cute butt alert! (Property of Jackson)

Jack and Zach. You think Jack is nervous Zach would steal his trains.

Jack and Zach, a pinch for good luck!

Bath mohawk time!
After bath we decided to run around a little before making our way outside for playtime! Love the expressions they give me!

We ended our day by starting a new Saturday night tradition. We have been bringing them to downtown San Clemente to this great kid friendly Mexican Restuarant. The owner Carlos and his business partner, Robert, are just so welcoming and are always chatting with the boys...
Folks...until next Saturday!
