Thanksgiving Eve

With all the exciting turn of events happening to us in the past couple of weeks (which I still have to post about), we did have a moment to realize that Steve and I met 12 years this Thanksgiving Eve.  To keep up with tradition, we made our way out on the town this Thanksgiving Eve and celebrated at PF Changs in Newport Beach.  Back home we would always try to visit Morgan’s, the Irish pub where we met in beautiful downtown Libertyville.  It really cements in our heads just how long we have been together.  Whenever we reach a milestone we find ourselves reflecting back on our life as boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, father/mother, and friends.  We are not perfect as individuals, but feel our life is as perfect as it can be.

As I say often, we truly are blessed for what we have been given, opportunities that we been presented, and are forever grateful to have a wonderful support of our family and friends.

We are also excited this year for our boys. This marks the boys’ 2nd Thanksgiving and man, thinking back to last year to this year, boy oh boy have they changed significantly. It will be great to have them eat turkey and potatoes and whatever else we can get them to sample.  One thing we do is always try to have them sample our dinner so they can get more used to the different textures of foods. It is funny to see their reaction, but if they don’t enjoy this time around, we always keep at it…one day they will.
Love to all.
