Yes, I understand that I am a wee bit behind in posting! I feel like the older the boys get, the busier our lives become...well it doesn't help that a lot of our weekends were tied up in searching for a house. Steve and I spent the majority of our weekends with our realtor bouncing from one house to the next. Our lease is up in another two months so it was crunch time to find the house we will come home. Stay tuned for that post!
We started our weekend by taking the boys back to the Irvine Park, aka OC Zoo; a lot happening around the park. However, the park was so packed and busy that to do anything would end us up in line for a half hour or longer. So, we decided to just continue walking around. We were smart this time and brought the modified wagon with us and hooked a lunch bag to the back. As we made our way to the zoo, we realized this is the place to be this 'holiday' weekend. They did such a great job decorating for the animals. The animals had a time slot dedicated to them for pumpkin eating. It was really neat. The zoo is not that big and so as packed as it was, we decided to keep trucking along. We made our way back to the petting zoo. The attendant was nice enough to let us bring the wagon inside. Little did we realize we had a following of animals. Note to self...remove lunch bag from back of wagon. :) It was actually comical. The boys certainly get a kick out of being able to touch the animals. It was then we decided to make our way back around the park; stopped to feed the ducks a snack. It never fails...Steve thought it would be fun to snap a pic or two...we always are taking photos of the boys and forget to include us--HA. So, as usual one looks away or they both do, etc. Oh well...whatcha gonna do when you have two 17 month old boys fascinated with everything else other than a camera.
I have included pics of our fabulous weekend! I just have to end by saying these two little boys bring so much joy and love to our life. They are really starting to act like toddlers, listening, bringing you things that you ask for, holding our hands, and the list could go on and on! We really are blessed.

Halloween Day--It was a gorgeous sunny day. We spent the day just relaxing and having a great time outside. After the boys woke from their afternoon nap we got them dressed up, well 1 3/4 dressed up. Jack was a good sport and played the part of a doggie. Zach did not enjoy the head piece and so he decided to let us know what he thought...we gave in. :) They sure do make some cute puppies. Jack was having a ball running around, climbing on chairs, vacuuming (yes, a doggie that vacuums) all while Zach was impressed with this gadget sticking out from Jack...his tail! All in all the boys had fun and so did we. Next year they will certainly be at an age where we can take them around from house to house visiting our neighbors!
