Labor Day Weekend

Time to post about Labor Day Weekend....just before the start of another weekend. I am happy we had a short week at work.

We started our weekend by hanging out at our house on Saturday since the rest of the weekend was going to be busy. We fed the boys an earlier dinner or I guess first so that way we could enjoy a nice grilled salmon and asparagus dinner. Yum...tasty tasty. It was great to enjoy our dinner without the up and down getting different things for the boys.

Sunday rolled around pretty fast and had plans to hang out with Baby Zac. Well he is not a baby anymore. Zac has been over to our house before but this is the first time that we got to spend time at his house. Tara, Zac's mom, used to work with Steve before she went out on maternity leave. She was put on bedrest for her entire pregnancy, even from the start. It was great catching up with her and Matt. It was super neat to meet Sam, the newest member of the Laski family. When we got to their house the boys played for a little and then we changed and went over to the pool. We all had such a good time. They got tired quickly and so we went back to play and eventually had lunch. We had a such a great time visiting that we left their house later than anticipated. We were home early afternoon so boys could take a brief nap.

Jack just LOVES jumping in these days. He feels the need to wear his water wings and googles all the time...don't ask! :) He is getting really good in the pool.

Zach just enjoyed getting pushed around in the car! :)

Break Time!

With the boys...it was getting very hot. You got burned while just sitting...yikes.

Quiz...who is in the car...?
On Monday, Steve's cousin Tracey invited us to their house in Ladara Ranch. LR has a huge Toddler Swim Park and it was perfect for the boys. They had such a wonderful time and could not get enough of going under the water and swimming around. They were swimming/playing so hard that they just wanted to eventually hang out and go play with their Cousin Ryan. Tracey and Mike had an awesome spread of food for dinner, and we always look forward to the next time we can hang out.

The huge water park. The red bucket at the top fills up with water and then pours over like a huge waterfall. The boys did get freaked out when we walked up on top. Poor little guys.  Steve and I are surprised they even have something like that because it can really take a little kid out! Good thing there are lifeguards 2 feet away in every which direction. Every two seconds you heard the whistle and the lifeguard telling children to walk, not run. Zach even got in trouble because the bucket freaked him out and he took off running!

Taking it easy...Zach and Jack

I cannot believe we are just about mid way through September! Goodness. But...just one more month closer to the holidays! I cannot wait. A lot happening, and not to mention my mom will be here again but this time on CHRISTMAS! :)

Until next time!
