Baby Beach

Cheyenne has been enjoying a lot her time with the boys at the pool and beach this summer. We are fortunate to live in a climate that we can probably go to the outdoor pool all year round. We will see what this fall and winter brings. We have some activities we are thinking about for the boys that should make the off season fun for them.

While at the Luau one of the supervisors commented how interactive our boys are and if they are in school. I said we are taking the idea of school one day at a time. We are very fortunate to have Cheyenne in our lives and the boys are happy and healthy--this makes us happy! The supervisor commented that Talega has a preschool but only one day a week and that is Friday mornings from 9-1. The curriculum is actually designed around the school system in San Clemente so it makes us happy knowing they are integrating activities of what to expect in Kindergarten. That is actually perfect and a great way to ease them in so when they start to go to school full time again they will pick up where we left off. Plus our area is known for great schools (hence why we decided to live where we do) so it is a win win. Since the boys are getting taught a lot at home and doing great there is simply no rush at all. These offerings of 1 day is the perfect balance of having fun with peers while being home. Our library also offers a preschool reading session two days a week and this will offer them some good positive interaction as well.

Nonetheless if Cheyenne is not at the pool then she is at baby beach in Dana Point with the boys. That is if the water quality is decent. Because of the location of the baby beach the water has to be tested often to ensure it is safe for swimming. There are many families that hang out at the baby beach because their little ones can swim at ease and do not have to worry about the large wave crashing not to mention the water is shallow. The boys love it too because they can play with other kids and Cheyenne can have a little R&R as well knowing the boys cannot get in a lot of trouble. She has been willing to take pictures for us while out and about, which we always look forward to. I cannot wait to share the video of Jack from Talega Pool!

Is it wrong that I thought it would be fun to incorporate the music from Baywatch to this picture....:)

No---that is not me and Steve in the background...:)

Going in...my little surfer

okay so maybe surfing 101 is next on the list of activities..need water! :)

LOL---we must be watching surfers too much!

Nice way to incorporate exercises too...;)

We love the beach! We love the sun shining down on us! We love warm weather!
