Special Moments

I wanted to post about this a LONG TIME AGO. However, we have experienced a major roller coaster ride in our house over the past two weeks with us all sick.

When we met with Karley and Jon for lunch three weeks ago she created an album filled with most of her magical moments with the boys.  KK's last day with the boys was precious. She did some exciting things with boys and I got to hear all about it, and not to mention I got to see some awesome pictures. Prior to the boys starting school, Steve and I would practice our routine in the morning from timing how long we each need to get ready, getting the boys up, fed, dressed, and out of the house. The last day of practice we had KK take the boys out so they would not think that we were feeding them a line of poop. :) I mean for a whole week we said, you are going to school, get ready. :) KK drove them by the school and on the way back they made a pit stop at Starbucks for a tasty treat. No the boys did not have coffee but KK shared a pastry with the boys. She then spent a good chunk of the morning at the beach, played around in the sand, dipped toes in the water, and then went to Fisherman's for lunch. Although a bittersweet day for us all, I am happy the weather was fabulous so she could do all those wonderful things with them!

There were some things about KK that amazed us, but I think what made me the happiest is not just having my boys home for as long as we did, but that she was always so adventurous with the boys and was able to get them out of the house. She did a great job.

Take a look at the duo and trio within the past year! Some older candid moments + newer candid moments = a lot of fun memories...
