Steve's parents are out of town through the weekend and we have the pleasure of getting to pick our boys up from school. They did great since we got there just before 5. I love seeing their faces light up when we walk into the room. They both ran over and it is funny because they hesitate for a minute who they should run too. :) They jump into our arms saying Mama and Dada. Generally Jack will run to me since he is attached to me for some reason lately and while I hold him he loves to pat my back and run his fingers through my hair. I know, right. I love it. Instantly they grab their things and begin putting them into their back packs all while looking at the teacher saying Mama and Dada up home.
Trying to say Mama and Dada are picking us up to go home. :) So very cute. We collected art work again, which by the way we have so much of it that I am a bit behind in hanging everything up. This time they made bunny faces for Easter! As we were getting ready to leave, the boys ran over to one of the teachers and gave her a BIG hug and said bye. Melt my heart. Just before we were walking out Zach had to sneak in one more hug. It was very sweet. We had a great talk on the way home and then Steve turned on the music. It is not often I can capture them dancing, but I was able to catch them moving to the music driving home! They did great as we got home, helping me make them oatmeal for dinner. Yep, driving home they both said oatmeal, so okay then. I like to add peanut butter to help give them more protein! We took an earlier bath and then afterwards watched the Kermit movie and had a bedtime snack. Steve just chuckled as he watched me and the boys having popcorn, curled up under the blanket watching Kermit--we were very involved in the movie! I am excited that I have dates for the movies...
I can hardly believe that Easter is next weekend already not to mention April. I think this weekend we will attempt dying eggs since Steve bought each of them a kit like three weeks ago. :) It should be fun, and looking forward to it.
I though it was cute that Jack was trying to say Zacharooni...Yet there are more challenging words that just roll off their tongues. :)
Enjoy the weekend everyone!
Love,
Julie
