We got up this morning, Daddy made pancakes, the boys fixed things around the house and took time to clean the floors, took a warm bath to help their congestion, and then went down to the pier for a little walk. Although it rained early this morning, it cleared up and temps turned mild. The boys have been under the weather the past few days and as much as we should keep them indoors, it is hard to do because they are boys, toddlers, and it is always good to have them burn as much energy as possible. We didn't keep them out for very long, just enough to get them out for a walk on the pier. They as usual had a great time. The waves were really big today and Zach just snuggled up to Daddy watching the surfers.
The boys have been doing so well staying on a routine and making more of a solid attempt of going pee-pee in the potty. Just before bath they sit on the potty and go pee-pee. You can tell they are so proud of themselves. Karley will also try to get them to go before nap so the boys get used to doing business more regularly. I think once we can continue with this routine, we will be able to increase the number of times we ask during moments that are more spontaneous, especially after drinking fluids. This is certainly a work in progress. Ahh...my boys are getting so big.
