Date Night

Steve and I were lucky enough to have Monica come by Friday night so we could enjoy a little time out after work. Because the Blackhawks were playing, we decided to meet at Zona's since they are technically now called a "sports bar" but I beg to differ. :) Although they have numerous TVs to support all the different games, so I think that is why they can get away by calling their establishment a sporst bar. Steve got his favorite chicken parmasean dish and I tried a chicken pasta dish--yummy. To keep up with tradition, we snapped our date night photo of us having a great time out!

Date Night: Zona's

Saturday we were also lucky enough to have Nana and Papa come by at 9:30am on Saturday to watch the boys so we could start and end Christmas shopping. By petes sake we accomplished our task! My poor feet were achy tired from all the walking but I am happy we were able to get a lot done. We just have a couple of more items left to get but that is okay. It felt so good to have some time away and get so much done. The time around Thanksgiving to Christmas is so exciting and by far one of my favorite times of year. The inside of our house is 95% decorated for Christmas; just waiting on a few items that I orderded. Steve has to hang lights outsided but we can tackle that mission next weekend.
