Over the past couple of months their eating habits have improved immensely. They LOVE eating salads with ranch or thousand island dressing. Yes, can you believe it...salad. We load their salads up with black olives, red onion (yep), cheese, croutons, bell pepper, and any other ingredient I might have on hand.
Both have maintained their interest in using the potty and are rewarded if they do something. Steve did end up buying another trainer to help balance the training so the other does not try and sit on the other because he wants to use it as well. We keep a trainer in the upstairs bathroom so if we are in the playroom we can make it in a jiffy! It is challenging trying to potty train multiples because you find yourself constantly asking if they have to pee or poop...especially after drinking/eating.
The boys never cease to amaze us with their minds. They are doing really well with shapes and colors. They definitely are helper bees and still like to help out where they can as much as they can, and are really good about cleaning up. They even know where to put certain toys. :)
We are having a lot of fun with this age as they are talking SO MUCH, which does help and will continue to help us so that we now know what they want. We are able to go down a list of food items so breakfast, lunch, and dinner has been slightly better as we are serving items they said yes too!
Jack tends to give in a little more than Zach, so if Zach is emotional and wants Grave Digger then Jack will toss it to him just so that he will stop. Zach on the other hand, not quite so much although will give his brother a toy on occassion. I do have to say Zach can be good about doing this more often, but lately Jack has stepped up to be the thoughtful one, at least for time being. :) The boys are very similar and yet different so it is hard for us to say one is good about XYZ or the other is better at XYZ. Jack and Zach take turns quite a bit in how they act so in a way it is a good thing as we are always kept on our feet! :)
We had a 4 day weekend and while Steve had to zip over to a meeting for a couple of hours I was able to have some dedicated Mommy and Me (twice) time today! :) We are looking forward to many more special moments and the boys growing rapidly before our eyes! Not to rush their development because I very much would like to keep them this young for a little longer but I look forward to how they will be around Christmas! They are brothers and fight, they are brothers and love, they are brothers and best friends!
I have attached some kodak moments of them over the weekend.

| Steve and I took them to Target Monday morning and we found new Elmo Slippers...at last! The boys cannot get enough of them. |

I added a video clip of them playing. The boys are not really talking in the video but it is just sweet to catch them playing nicely having a bonding moment!
Love Bugs, Mommy and Daddy LOVE you so very much. We are proud of the boys you are becoming. We love how close you two are every step of the way!
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
