We had a great ending to the day. When the boys woke up from their afternoon nap we decided to take them to one of our famous weekend stops...LOWE'S. They have a blast. Depending on our needs (or wants :) we will get two carts. I get one to push the boys around in and Daddy gets the other for his things. The boys have so much fun getting pushed around and they listen so good. If they do not listen then I don't move the cart. Yes, I have had to do that only once and I stood there for 5 minutes. Steve was off shopping and he came back to the isle like what happened. He soon realized their ears were "broken". HA. [quick and funny story. Whenever I ask the boys if their ears are broken, Jack will put his finger in one and look at me] Moving along. They have two options. The first is if they stand up then they have to stand back by me where you would actually sit. since this is the deepest and widest part of the cart it is much safer, not to mention they can stand side by side. They have to also hold onto the side of the cart. Most of the time it is with one hand because they typically have their sippy with them. The second option is of course sit down, which you would think would not happen. They do sit often and hold onto some of Daddy's purchases. It is a good thing they love going to the hardware store becuase I am sure they will be there a lot! We got home and in time to make dinner. So Jack ate well again...cleared his plate. I think he is making up from when he was sick. Just like that bedtime is upon us. Once the boys are down, one of the things Steve and I like to do after we clean up and get organized from the day is sit and enjoy the peace and relaxation outside on our patio. We hardly watch any TV it seems, other than having a couple of favorite shows. The weather is most of the time just perfect in the evening (upper 60's, some nights 70 degrees) and what is even better is we don't find ourselves swatting at mosquitos or putting on bug spray like we did at home. I recall many nights we wanted to enjoy our deck, but the mosquitos were horrible. In any event, I get comfy cozy and we turn on one of the heaters. We just sit and unwind from the day. It is a good time for us to catch-up and talk about the boys, what the plans are, it doesn't matter. We just sit and enjoy being outside. Life as we know it is way too short! Pefection!
