The day finally came when,
yes, we took the boys today to get
haircuts. Downtown San Clemente has,
no joke, like 7 Barber Shops from one end of the block to the next as well as several hair studio/spas. However, our neighbor Tom mentioned they take Evan to this small little place off The "5" and suggested we take Jack and Zack to see Ferry. We walked in and what do you know, I was so excited to see a station designed just for our dynamic duo-a car shaped chair for toddlers.
Zach started off the trip and for whatever reason mid way he just started crying and up the arms go to see Daddy. The little trooper hung in there, although we had to give him one of her brushes to hold him over. :)
[As soon as Mommy gets home from work we all go upstairs so they can help me change. As soon as they enter our room they make a bee line for our bathroom and start to empty out the bottom two drawers. Most of the time they take our toothbrushes and walk around brushing their teeth. Yes, the kids have their own set of toothbrushes and we brush every morning and evening, but we then put them away after every use. So, once they see our toothbrushes in arms reach they get excited and walk around 'brushing' their teeth. Crazy. Sometimes they end up getting our hairbrushes and will comb their hair. Needless to say the brush did the trick. I did notice they had a bin of old items they were selling for a $1.00 so Steve found two combs so they could have their own.]
All in all Zacharoo did wonderfully well.

Up next, Jack Jack. He sat in the car shaped chair and just held on looking around. He was getting a little upset because he was trying to get his comb but could not figure out how to get his hands out from under the cape. Ha! I was able to snap the pics while Daddy was there to watch!

I was able to take a short video (nothing too exciting, although Jack just sitting there thinking why could I not keep the surfer look) before the batteries in my camera went 100% dead...
